WASHINGTON, 1 Oct (Hina) - A Croatian delegation, led by Finance
Minister Bozo Prka and the Croatian National Bank (NBH) Governor
Marko Skreb, is taking part in an session of the International
Monetary Fund and World Bank, which is taking place in Washington.
The Croatian delegation today met representatives of U.S. and
European commercial banks and IMF and World Bank officials.
NBH Governor held talks with his counterparts from Central and
Eastern Europe and members of 'Citybank' on the bank's investments
in the region.
The head of the IMF European department, Massimo Russo,
expressed satisfaction with the overall macroeconomic developments
in Croatia.
The annual IMF and World Bank session started Tuesday
afternoon. Governor Skreb is to address the session on Wednesday.
