SARAJEVO, 20 Sept (Hina) - Bosnian Serb police in Prijedor,

Friday. The weapons had been handed over after yesterday's

president of the Bosnian Serb entity, Biljana Plavsic. In his
ultimatum, Lopez also demanded that the Prijedor police
superintendent Simo Drljaca be replaced. #L#
Last night, Lopez met with the newly-elected Serb member of
the Bosnian Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik, whom he also warned that
Drljaca had to be dismissed and that all weapons which had been
used in an attack on IFOR members last Monday had to be handed over
to IFOR unconditionally.
IFOR would not allow Drljaca's replacement to some other
police duty in Republika Srpska, but demand his dismissal from the
service.
Prijedor police superintendent Simo Drljaca last Monday
opposed IFOR soldiers when they tried to take away the weapons he
was not supposed to carry with him. Upon Drljaca's order, Serb
police surrounded IFOR soldiers, threatening their security.
