ROME, Sept 16 (Hina) - World economy experts showed great interest
for investing in Croatia, Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa told
Croatian reporters in Rome after his speech at the world business
conference.
"Foreign investors have estimated that Croatia is very
attractive for foreign investments, especially after the situation
in the whole region has calmed down, the peacefully held elections
in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the normalization of relations between
Zagreb and Belgrade", Matesa said.
Matesa acquainted the world economy experts taking part in the
work of the Council for Global Business Policy with the positive
data concerning Croatia's economic achievements in the past,
difficult period. Croatia satisfied almost all parametres agreed on
in Maastricht for the making of a European monetary union.
During the conference, Matesa held special talks with the
assistant to U.S. President Bill Clinton.
