TRAVNIK, Sept 8 (Hina) - President of the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina Kresimir Zubak on Sunday told an election rally of the
Croatian Democratic Union of BH in Travnik, central Bosnia, that he
wholly supported the initiative of Croats from Travnik to make a
political and administrative reorganization of their city and
municipality.
"Federal documents enable a reorganization and the making of
municipalities with a national majority. In this case I think that
Travnik, as the County's seat, should be organized in at least two
municipalities, one Croat and one Bosniak-Muslim with a city
district", Zubak pointed out, adding that he knew that, with its
27,000 Croats, 20,000 of them displaced, Travnik was relatively the
largest Croat city in Bosnia.
"Travnik is in every way similar to Mostar so let it be
organized similarly", Zubak said, adding that "this would be an
additional guarantee for the return of Croats to that city and an
additional guarantee for the survival of Croats in central Bosnia."
