Interior Minister Jozo Leutar, the Mostar-based Central Committee of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) for Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Bosnian Archbishop Cardinal Vinko Puljic and Croatian Ambassador in Sarajevo Darinko Bago, on frequent maltreatment of Croat citizens of Bugojno since the beginning of July, the Herzeg-Bosnian news agency Habena reported.

from Bugojno, currently based in Livno, on Thursday sent a letter
to the President of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kresimir
Zubak, Federation's Deputy Interior Minister Jozo Leutar, the
Mostar-based Central Committee of the Croatian Democratic Union
(HDZ) for Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Bosnian Archbishop Cardinal Vinko
Puljic and Croatian Ambassador in Sarajevo Darinko Bago, on
frequent maltreatment of Croat citizens of Bugojno since the
beginning of July, the Herzeg-Bosnian news agency Habena reported.

The letter describes some twenty cases of intimidation of the
local Croats. It also mentions explosions and bomb attacks on
houses of the local Croats, as well as setting afire and plunder of
Croat houses.
On 14 July, the church in Rumac was destroyed in a fire while
on the night between 25 and 26 August the church of St Anthony in
Bugojno was mined and severely damaged.
'Eighty-four Croat families have returned to Bugojno out of
200 families who were to return to the town according to a pilot-
project from the Dayton agreement. Their houses were completely
plundered', the letter said, adding that 'because of all these
events, Bugojno Croats are considering to leave Bugojno'.
