ZAGREB, Aug 20 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan
Simonovic returned to Zagreb from Belgrade on Monday where he held
talks with Yugoslav Foreign Minister Milan Milutinovic and a
Foreign Ministry task group.
On his arrival in Zagreb Simonovic told Hina that "During the
meeting we achieved further progress in defining the text of the
Agreement on Normalization of Relations".
"Resolutions for the rest of disputable issues will be
searched for in intensive diplomatic contacts in the next few days
so that a meeting between the two foreign ministers Milutinovic and
Mate Granic can take place in Belgrade on August 23, as was
announced," Simonovic said.
"Croatia is interested in the normalization of relations with
Yugoslavia, but without detriment to the quality of the agreement,"
Simonovic said.
