Jankovic informed the Serb side that all economic programs,
including agricultural ones, related to the whole territory of the
Republic of Croatia, including the UNTAES administered Croatian
Danubian area.
Jankovic explained the government program of autumn sowing
adding that Croatia was ready to buy off wheat and corn surplus
from local farmers and companies, as well as to provide assistance,
especially in machine reserve parts.
It was agreed that the Serb side would deliver the remaining
835 tons of wheat (harvests 1995 and 1996), part of the delivery
being in flower. Croatia is also to provide loans for autumn sowing
in the UNTAES-administered area and it is ready to take over 1995
corn harvest in exchange for fertilizers and fuel.
Representatives of local veterinary services and services for
protection of crops informed Jankovic about the health condition of
animals and control of crop pests.
