SARAJEVO, Aug 6 (Hina) - Croatian Agriculture and Forestry Minister Matej Jankovic met his Bosnian counterpart Ahmed Smajic in Sarajevo on Tuesday. They discussed agricultural and trade cooperation and joint development projects in
these fields.

on Tuesday. They discussed agricultural and trade cooperation and

"Today's talks were an extraordinary step forward in our
relationship and are sure to bring substantial benefit to both
countries," Minister Jankovic said after the talks.
It was agreed that Croatia would produce additional quantities
of food needed by Bosnia. The exact quantities and prices would be
settled at a later date.
It was also agreed that Croatia would allow the free transit
of cattle for Bosnia, provided that certain safety procedures were
followed.
The two ministers and their associates also discussed a
protocal on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine, which
is to be signed in the next ten days.
