set up a new bus route which connects cities in the Bosnian
Federation with the Serb entity. #L#
UNHCR spokesman Randolph Ryan said on Wednesday that the route
connects Tuzla and Bijeljina in north-eastern Bosnia and that there
was great interest for the bus ride between the two towns.
A test drive was taken last week and because of the great
interest a small bus with 12 seats was substituted for a big one
which leaves Tuzla every morning and returns from Bijeljina every
afternoon.
The bus was used by people of all nationalities and there had
been no problems so far, Ryan said.
On rest of routes connecting the Federation with the Serb
entity a number of incidents has been recorded because Bosnian Serb
authorities are trying to prevent such traffic.
Most of the problems were recorded concerning busses on routes
between Banja Luka and Zenica.
