ZAGREB, 27 July (Hina) - Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa, who is
heading a Croatian state delegation on a several-day visit to
Qatar, on Saturday met with the President of Qatar and the Quatar
government, Emir Sheik Hamad Bin Khalifomo al Thani, Croatian

A Qatar delegation could visit Croatia at the beginning of
September to get acquainted with possibilities of investment into
Croatia.
'I think we have managed to agree on the first deal for
Croatian companies in Qatar. The deal is worth US $ 30 million, and
there are chances that another, $120 million-worth deal, would also
be signed.
The two sides agreed on cooperation in the area of tourism,
since many companies from Qatar are interested in investments on
the Croatian coast.
Economy Minister Davor Stern, who is also in the delegation,
held talks with the head of the Qatar Chambers of Commerce, Salih
Mubarak Al Kualifi. Stern informed his hosts about Croatian economy
and products it can offer to Qatar, as well as about possibilities
of investment into Croatia.
