SPLIT, July 27 (Hina) - Croatian President and president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) Franjo Tudjman on Saturday visited Split to take part in the 3rd HDZ Youth Convention called "Existence of Youth Country's Future" which
began on Friday.

Tudjman thanked the Croatian youth for their extraordinary
contribution in the creation of the Croatian state.
He spoke of the current political situation in international
relations, adding that he world had not wanted Croatia to be
created without their will, but that the world now had to count on
Croatia because geostrategic relations in this part of Europe had
changed after the Croatian military operation "Storm".
He added that Croatia would not allow itself to be placed in
any Balkan federation and that nobody would play games with Croatia
as had been done in the past.
