The adoption of the law could be expected at the beginning of
next week at a session of the federal parliament. The adoption of
the law would be the last condition for the beginning of
implementation of the 'Equip and Train' program, Pardew said.
The arrival of U.S. military experts in Bosnia would follow 30
days after the adoption of the law. Until the general elections in
September, presidents Izetbegovic and Zubak would share the
responsibility for command over the Federal army, the Bosnian army
and the Croatian Defence Council (HVO).
The adoption of the defence law would be a first, decisive
step in the integration of the joint army, Pardew said.
