ZAGREB, July 2 (Hina) - Croatian "Gas Turbines Factory" (TPT)
representatives met for talks in the Economy Ministry in Zagreb on
Tuesday with representatives of the foreign companies CFM
International, General Electric and Snecma.
TPT was soon to sign a USD 10 million agreement with its
partners on manufacturing rotary parts for airplane engines, TPT
director Ivan Rast said.
The engines would be used by the national carrier Croatia
Airlines which was planning to increase its fleet of medium-flight
aircraft next year.
TPT would manufacture parts for a total of ten engines after
which it expected to continue cooperation with CFM International on
the foreign market.
CFM International is jointly owned by the US company General
Electric and the French company Snecma.
