ZAGREB, June 5 (Hina) - Remains of a Croatian aircraft that crashed
two years ago while flying aid supplies to the Bihac enclave of
northwestern Bosnia have been found, Croatian television said
Tuesday night.
The remains of an AN-26 plane and the bodies of crew members
were recovered from a location called Corkova Uvala, about 100 km
southwest of Zagreb, in an area which at that time was under Serb
control.
About 3,000 tonnes of aid, including 1,800 tonnes of military
supplies, were dispatched to Serb-besieged Bihac, without which its
resistance would not have been possible, the television said.
