ZAGREB, 2 July (Hina) - Transactions of securities on the Zagreb stock market reached the value of DEM 118,83 million in the first half of the year, a report from the Zagreb stock market said. According to the report, DEM 107,2
million have been realized through TEST-1 trade system, while the turnover at auctions of the Croatian Fund for Privatization (HFP) for old foreign exchange savings (swap) reached the value of DEM 8,64 million. Some three million German marks have been realized through the sale of shares and bonds at HFP auctions.
ZAGREB, 2 July (Hina) - Transactions of securities on the Zagreb
stock market reached the value of DEM 118,83 million in the first
half of the year, a report from the Zagreb stock market said.
According to the report, DEM 107,2 million have been realized
through TEST-1 trade system, while the turnover at auctions of the
Croatian Fund for Privatization (HFP) for old foreign exchange
savings (swap) reached the value of DEM 8,64 million. Some three
million German marks have been realized through the sale of shares
and bonds at HFP auctions. #L#
In the first half of 1996, 222,838 shares have been traded
through TEST-1. Nineteen companies have been sold at HFP swap
auctions, while 18 companies have been sold at cash auctions.
The highest turnover (77,7 million DEM) in the first half of
this year, has been realized through trade with AA series of shares
of the pharmaceutical company Pliva. Pliva sold 37,826 shares, and
their prices ranged from 500 to 2,699 9 German marks.
Podravka (food industry) sold most shares - more than 117,000
at prices ranging from 19 to 76,54 German marks.
The shares turnover of Zagrebacka banka (series 1A) exceeded
2,4 million DEM. More than 33,000 shares of Zagrebacka banka have
been sold at prices ranging from 38 to 156 German marks. Some
360,000 DEM have been realized through the sale of 1,886 shares of
the tourist company Plava laguna.
Since the beginning of transactions on the Zagreb stock
market, the total turnover of shares exceeded DEM 627 million.
