ZAGREB, June 18 (Hina) - Croatian Real Estate Exchange director
Kresimir Karamarko held a press conference in Zagreb on Tuesday to
present the activitity of the Real Estate Exchange established two
months ago.
The exchange was established by 15 real estate agencies which
had decided to pool their information to facilitate the purchase
and sale of real estate.
Karamarko said that it was agencies that sold real estate
while the exchange only provided information about it.
In the two months of its operation, the exchange has generated
generated DM 10.5 million worth of trade, which is only a small
portion, about 5%, of the overall trade in real estate on the
Croatian market.
The real estate exchange is working on a new bill which will
regulate the real estate market.
