MOSTAR, June 24 (Hina) - Based on research of public opinion which was conducted in west Mostar on a sample of 200 people by the independent agency "Alfa", 75% of respondents consider the Mostar elections, scheduled for 30 June, as
very important, the agency told a news conference on Monday. Furthermore, 19.5% of subjects said that the upcoming local elections were not all that important to them, and 14.5% said that they were indifferent as to who would win in the elections.

was conducted in west Mostar on a sample of 200 people by the
independent agency "Alfa", 75% of respondents consider the Mostar
elections, scheduled for 30 June, as very important, the agency
told a news conference on Monday.
Furthermore, 19.5% of subjects said that the upcoming local
elections were not all that important to them, and 14.5% said that
they were indifferent as to who would win in the elections. #L#
As regards the electoral expectations, 28.6% of subjects
questioned expect the maintenance of peace, 23,1% expect the
maintenance of national identity, 21,6% expect a better life
standard and 20.4% expect security.
This is the first research conducted by this agency.
The subjects questioned were middle-aged people of secondary
school qualifications.
The research was commissioned by the Faculty of Economy in
Mostar, on the model of American principles.
