Granic stressed that relations between Croatia and Macedonia
were becoming more and more intense and broad in all fields.

Gligorov.
During the talks, they determined that the two countries
agreed on all foreign affairs issues, and that they would extend
their cooperation.
Macedonian Foreign minister Ljubomir Frckovski told a news
conference on Monday that Croatia and Macedonia had the same views
on the succession of former Yugoslavia, as well as the same goals
in the process of reintegration of both countries into European and
North Atlantic associations.
"Croatia, just as Macedonia, is ready to cooperate with all
states and we are ready to normalize relations with Belgrade, but
we do not consent to any Serbian conditions.
Croatia expects to be admitted into the Council of Europe and
Partnership for Peace in Autumn," Granic said.
A reporter of the Skoplje daily Dnevnik" handed Granic a
letter with 40 signatures of the daily's reporters, protesting
against law suits against reporters of the Croatian "Feral Tribune"
weekly.
A group of some 20 reporters of the newly established paper
also staged a protest in front of the Croatian Embassy during its
opening.
