ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Monday received a delegation of the 12th International Festival of
Animated Cartoons, a statement from the Presidents Office said. #L#
Tudjman was informed of the process of preparations for the
festival in which cartoons from some 40 countries from all
continents are to partake.
He said that the fact that immediately after direct danger of
war, despite all difficulties, a festival was organized, was proof
how much independent Croatia contributed to culture.
At the side of the President, present were President's Chief-
of-Staff Ivo Sanader and the President's advisor for culture,
Zlatko Vitez.
In the delegation were Mladen Cutura, Josko Marusic, Margit
Antauer, Michel Ocelot and Caroline Leaf, the statement said.
