EUR $ OPE VIENNA, 31 May (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic on Friday held talks with his Austrian counterpart Wolfgang Schuessel on Croatia's admission to the Council of Europe. #L# Granic met Schuessel after the meeting of foreign ministers of the Central European Initiative (CEI) was completed. After the talks, Granic said that Schuessel informed him about the current discussion on Croatia's accession to the Council of Europe. Schuessel stressed that 'Austria has firmly supported Croatia's admission to the Council of Europe and will continue to do so'. Granic and Schuessel also discussed the further course of events and 'possible requirements in the frameworks of Croatia's existing commitments'. Granic also met with his Italian colleague, Lamberto Dini. In a short conversation, the two ministers agreed on topics they would discuss tonight.
