Nuhanovic (20) from Bihac, northwestern Bosnia, who were arrested in Senj, Croatia, on April 4 1996, are charged with planning the murder of Fikret Abdic for a financial award and other material benefits.
RIJEKA, May 27 (Hina) - The Rijeka court of law on Monday began the
trial against six persons indicted of international terrorism.
Dervis Demirovic (33), Hajrudin Halilovic (27), Zijad Zulic
(25), Jasmin Osmankic (28) and Senad Nuhanovic (20) from Bihac,
northwestern Bosnia, who were arrested in Senj, Croatia, on April 4
1996, are charged with planning the murder of Fikret Abdic for a
financial award and other material benefits. #L#
The indictments stress that they had imported a larger amount
of weapons into Croatia for that purpose.
The sixth person, Jusuf Delic Ibukic from Kraljevica in
Croatia, is charged with aiding and abetting in the crime.
All six persons had recourse to their legal right to silence
at Monday's hearing, as they had during the investigation.
The trial is to continue.
