BOSNIA CONTINUES TO INVESTIGATE WAR CRIMES

SARAJEVO, May 23 (Hina) - Authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina opened an investigation of persons suspected of committing war crimes, as well as those who are suspected of planning, organizing and committing aggression against Bosnia, Bosnian legal representative before the International Crimes Tribunal in The Hague, Vasvija Vidovic, said. She told a news conference in Sarajevo that evidence was being collected which would incriminate a larger number of suspects whose files would be submitted to the Tribunal's prosecutor as soon as they were completed.

The investigation was proceeding slowly because of financial difficulties and the difficult situation Bosnia was in, Vidovic said. (hina) lm mm 231933 MET may 96
