ZAGREB, May 15 (Hina) - Croatia and Hungary will cooperate in the
development of the infrastructure and reconstruction of Croatia and
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatian Reconstruction and Development
Minister Jure Radic and visiting Hungarian Industry and Trade
Minister Imre Dunai said in Zagreb on Wednesday.
Radic told reporters after the meeting that the construction
of roads and railway lines in Croatia was also in the interest of
its neighbouring countries.
The Hungarian delegation emphasized the importance of
establishing better links between Hungary and Croatian Adriatic
ports, Radic said.
Speaking of the financing of infrastructure projects, Dumai
stressed the need for involvement of foreign investors. He accepted
Radic's proposal that Hungary sponsor the reconstruction of a
village in eastern Croatia.
Radic and Dunai agreed to meet again in Budapest on June 18 to
discuss operational details of the projects.
