The International Academy was opened by the Hungarian Interior
Minister Gabor Kuncze and present at the ceremony were Croatian
Interior Minister Ivan Jarnjak and some 20 other ministers or
deputy ministers from other European countries and the U.S.
The ministers are to participate in the work of the
Ministerial Conference in Budapest which will focus on
international cooperation against organized and other crime.
The Conference will also tackle the issue of work of the
International Police Academy where a number of Croatian police
officers are to take courses.
