ZAGREB, 14 May (Hina) - The eight session of the Representative
House of the Croatian parliament, which commenced on 8 May, will
be resumed tomorow. There are 16 more items on the agenda, out of
which vote will be taken on 11.
According to the session timetable, tomorrow the house is due
to debate a bill of an amnesty act concerning offenders from the
area of E. Slavonia, Baranja and western Srijem. The bill is
in an urgent procedure. Out of the bills scheduled for tomorrow,
amendments on the maritime code will be discussed in an urgent
procedure, bill on loan deals with foreign partners is in the
second reading and three bills are in their first reading.
On Thursday, MPs are expected to debate nine items, including
the final draft of a bill on customs tariffs, which is in the
second reading, and a final draft of a bill on areas of special
state interest.
On Friday, the final day of the 8th session, the house will
discuss a report on the activities of state bodies in the
suppression of all types of crime and a special overview of the
state of economy and the judiciary. On the final day vote will
taken and all items that were debated last week.
