President of the SDA Cantonal Committee, Dzevad Mlaco, denied
the existence of the Central Canton Assembly and refused the right
of SDA representatives to decide on items on the agenda.
Despite the good will of Croat representatives, Mlaco had
succeeded in convincing Moslem representatives not to come to
Friday's Assembly session, president of the HDZ Representative
Club, Zoran Maric, said
"Despite our conviction that Mlaco is manipulating the whole
Moslem community in the canton, we are willing to continue the
session of the Central Canton Assembly which had been terminated on
March 28, and we accept any initiative which may enable the
establishment of authority in this key canton for the Federation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina," Maric said.
