Chamber of Commerce, Nadan Vidosevic, began in Zagreb on Monday.
ZAGREB, May 13 (Hina) - Talks on business between Dutch government
officials and business people, headed by the Dutch Foreign
Minister, Anneke van Dok van Weele, and Croatian representatives,
headed by the president of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Nadan
Vidosevic, began in Zagreb on Monday. #L#
Vidosevic pointed out numerous possibilities for direct Dutch
investments in Croatia, especially in tourism, agriculture,
furniture manufacture and infrastructure.
Van Weele said that 35 Dutch business people from various
fields of business had arrived in Croatia. She mentioned
agriculture and infrastructure as the possible fields of
cooperation.
The Netherlands were ready to offer technical help in the
modernization of ports and their connection with the railway, Weele
said.
A Phillips company representative said that this company was
to open its first branch office in Croatia.
After a plenary meeting, separate talks were continued between
Croatian and Dutch businessmen.
