ZAGREB, April 17 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister on Wednesday
received the outgoing Dutch Ambassador to Croatia based in
Budapest, Hans Sondaal, a Foreign Ministry statement said.
The two officials assessed that the relations between the
two countries had substantially developed at both political and
economic levels.
Sondaal informed Granic about a forthcoming visit of Dutch
Foreign Minister Henricus van Mierlo during which he was expected
to formally open the Dutch Embassy in Zagreb.
He also spoke of measures the Dutch government had taken to
create conditions for strengthening economic cooperation with
Croatia. This issue would be discussed during a visit of Dutch
business people who would soon travel to Croatia.
Granic thanked Sondaal for his peronsal contribution to the
development of cooperation between the two countries.
