ZAGREB, 9 May (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Association of Anti-Fascist Fighters (SAB), the City of Zagreb and the Association of Disabled War Veterans on Thursday laid wreaths on the grave of national heroes and the grave
of the famous Croatian writer and participant in the anti-fascist movement in World War Two, Vladimir Nazor, at the central Zagreb cemetery of Mirogoj on the occasion of 9 May, the Day of Victory over fascism. Wreaths were also laid at the main cross at Mirogoj.
ZAGREB, 9 May (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Association
of Anti-Fascist Fighters (SAB), the City of Zagreb and the
Association of Disabled War Veterans on Thursday laid wreaths on
the grave of national heroes and the grave of the famous Croatian
writer and participant in the anti-fascist movement in World War
Two, Vladimir Nazor, at the central Zagreb cemetery of Mirogoj on
the occasion of 9 May, the Day of Victory over fascism. Wreaths
were also laid at the main cross at Mirogoj. #L#
The delegation was led by SAB president Ivan Fumic.
A delegation of the Croatian Social-Democratic Party, led by
its vice president Mirjana Feric-Vac, visited the cemetery and laid
wreaths at the central cross for all those who were killed in the
Homeland war. Wreaths were also laid on the grave of national
heroes and Vladimir Nazor's grave.
