PRESIDENT TUDJMAN RECEIVES OSCE DELEGATION

ZAGREB, May 7 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman today received representatives of the Organisation on Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), led by the Bosnia mission chief Robert Frowick, the President's office said in a statement. Following is the full text of the statement: "The mission chief in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Robert Frowick, informed President Tudjman of the requirements for conducting elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina in accordance with the Dayton Agreement. President Tudjman said the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian people in Bosnia-Herzegovina were committed to the full implementation of the Washington and Dayton Peace Agreements, particularly the Bosnian Federation project and forginig close ties between the Federation and Croatia. 'We will use all our influence to ensure that elections are conducted in the way agreed-upon in Dayton,' said President Tudjman, noting that certain obstructive attitudes of the Bosnian Moslem side got in the way of the implementation of the peace agreements and preparations for elections. President Tudjman was accompanied by his chief-of-staff Ivo Sanader, his foreign-policy advisor Zeljko Matic and Assistant Foreign Minister Hidajet Biscevic. The OSCE delegation included Swiss Ambassador to Croatia Peter Troendle, head of the OSCE Coordination Office in Bern, Raymond Kunz and deputy chief of mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina, William Strubner."
