ZAGREB, Apr 10 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman today
received a delegation of the cultural weekly "Hrvatsko Slovo" which
is celebrating its firs anniversary, the President's office said in
a statement.
Following is the full text of the statement:
"The editor-in-chief, Dubravko Horvatic, presented President
tudjman with the bound annual file, recounting how "Hrvatsko Slovo"
achieved a circulation of 15,000 copies despite financial and other
difficulties.
President Tudjman said Hrvatsko Slovo continued in the best
tradition of Croatian literature and culture and wished the editors
and contributors to keep promoting Croatian cultural values.
President Tudjman was accompanied by his chief-of-staff Ivo
Sanader and advisor Andelko Mijatovic.
The "Hrvatsko Slovo" contingent included Horvatic's deputy
Mile Maslac and the director of the Croatian Writers' Socity
publishing house, Stjepan Seselj."
