(WBCSD), led by Frank Bosshardt. The talks focused on the establishment of a special government agency for the protection of environment in Croatia.

ZAGREB, May 6 (Hina) - Aide to the Croatian Economy Minister in the
international economic cooperation sector, Slavko Begic, on Monday
held talks with a three-member delegation of the World Business
Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), led by Frank
Bosshardt. The talks focused on the establishment of a special
government agency for the protection of environment in Croatia. #L#
Ahead of tomorrow's establishment of the Croatian Business
Council for Sustainable Development (PSOR), Begic said that Croatia
paid a lot of attention to the protection of environment, not only
for the sake of tourism but because of its national parks as well.
WBCSD gathers more than 120 international companies engaged in
the protection of environment and principles of economic growth and
sustainable development, Bosshardt said, stressing his support for
the establishment of PSOR and announcing cooperation between WBCSD
and PSOR.
The Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development will
become a new member of the net of WBCSD national councils.
