'Stribor' members informed Cacic about the problems of
residents of Rijeka and Pazin Counties. The most difficult problem
was the increasing number of malignant diseases among the people
living in the vicinity of the coal-fired thermal plant 'Plomin I',
and a drastically high death rate among female population in the
Gorski kotar area.
'Stribor' members gave a protest letter entitled 'Croatia
Without Coal' to Cacic and asked him to further it to the
Parliament.
