Two men were killed, two other persons were severely wounded
and one received light wounds from small arms when a group of some
300 Muslims tried to return to their homes in the village of
Sjenina, Gracanica municipality, northern Bosnia, Sarajevo
television said in a report tonight. According to the report, the
Serbs opened fire on the Muslims who were trying to cross the
borderline which separates the two entities.
The IFOR headquarters in Sarajevo only confirmed that two
persons were wounded and that the situation in the area was tense.
An older woman was killed today when a group of some 500
Muslims tried to visit their homes in Trnovo municipality, some 20
km south of Sarajevo. According to Sarajevo television, the woman
was killed when Serbs attacked a convoy of six buses and several
personal vehicles with stones and hoes.
Three persons were severely wounded while 15 other received
light wounds in the attack, the report said.
The embittered Muslims who tried to visit Trnovo this
afternoon gathered in front of Carl Bildt's office in Sarajevo,
protesting because they had not been provided with escort for the
visit.
