SARAJEVO, 19 April (Hina) - The British Defence Minister Michael Portillo stated today that everything pointed to the fact that all three sides in Bosnia-Herzegovina were ready to fulfill their tasks and withdraw their soldiers as
well as to relocate heavy weaponry in line with the provisions of the Bosnian peace agreement.
SARAJEVO, 19 April (Hina) - The British Defence Minister Michael
Portillo stated today that everything pointed to the fact that all
three sides in Bosnia-Herzegovina were ready to fulfill their tasks
and withdraw their soldiers as well as to relocate heavy weaponry
in line with the provisions of the Bosnian peace agreement. #L#
Everything pointed to the fact that the sides were almost
completely following their obligations set to be carried out within
the D+120 deadline, Portillo said after his meeting with IFOR
General Michael Walker in Ilidza.
The next important task was to organise elections in Bosnia,
Portillo said.
The British defence minister left Sarajevo for Banja Luka to
visit British troops located there.
