Speaking of defending the southern part of Croatia, Bobetko
said "Croatia would not have a sea-side if it were not for the
'Maslenica' military operation and other operations in the south of
Croatia".
Croatia had to keep alive the memory of its killed soldiers,
Bobetko said, adding that the issue of their families should not be
resolved by red tape.
During their visit to Zagreb, the families placed a wreath on
the Alter of Homeland and visited the Wall of Tears in front of the
UN headquarters.
The visit was organized by the Croatian government Office for
War Victims, the Fortress of Love in Varazdin and the Croatian Red
Cross in Dubrovnik.
