WASHINGTON, April 12 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko
Matesa and his associates met for talks with World Bank Director
James Wolfensohn in Washington on Thursday.
"Cooperation between the World Bank and Croatia is good and
going in the right direction," Matesa told reporters after the
meeting.
It was assessed that preparations for the realization of a
loan for rehabilitation of Croatian banks and the pension system
and a second reconstruction loan were proceeding according to
plan.
The talks also focused on trilateral cooperation between the
World Bank, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina on projects for the
reconstruction of infrastructure in the two countries.
