SARAJEVO, 10 April (Hina) - The Canadian government firmly believed in the stability of the peace process in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Canadian Foreign Minister Lloyd Axworthy told a press conference in Sarajevo today, stressing that his
statement was best proved by today's opening of the Canadian embassy in the Bosnian capital. Addressing the press conference at the end of his official visit to the Bosnian capital, Minister Axworthy said that his country would continue helping the reconstruction of Bosnia- Herzegovina. He also expressed hope that businesspeople of the two countries would soon establish cooperation.

today's opening of the Canadian embassy in the Bosnian capital.
Addressing the press conference at the end of his official

Axworthy expressed clear support for bringing war crimes
suspects before justice, recalling that the place of the chief
prosecutor of the Hague War Crimes Tribunal would soon be filled by
a Canadian.
Bosnian Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic recalled that during
the war Canada had sent more than 100 million dollars of
humanitarian aid. He announced that Canadian government
representatives in Ottawa would offer additional help in the
reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina at the next donors' conference
in Brussels.
