SARAJEVO, March 15 (Hina) - An American soldier, member of the NATO-led Implementation Force, who was wounded last night in Tuzla, is out of danger, IFOR spokesman, Simon Haselock said in Sarajevo on Friday.

Haselock said the soldier received a bullet wound when he
tried to stop an unidentified person wearing civillian clothes from
entering a US military base near Tuzla. The incident happened
around 200 hours last night.
The intruder and the soldier opened fire simultaneously and
the latter was shot.
Another IFOR soldier was wounded when he trod on a mine in
Visoko, 20 km north of Sarajevo. The soldier (it is unknown which
country he is from) was transported to a French field hospital in
Sarajevo. His present condition has not been reported.
