ZAGREB, April 3 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Wednesday evening formed a government commission to investigate the
circumstances of a US Air Force plane crash near Dubrovnik, the
Presidential Office said in a statement.
The task of the commission would be to investigate, in
cooperation with competent experts of the governments of the United
States and Croatia, the circumstances of the tragic crash of the
plane which carried US Secretary of Commerce Ronal Brown, members
of a US business delegation and the crew.
Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa was appointed president of the
commission.
The commission includes Foreign Minister Mate Granic, Defence
Minister Gojko Susak, Interior Minister Ivan Jarnjak, Presidential
Chief of Staff Ivo Sanader, Head of the Office for National
Security (UNS) Luka Bebic, Maritime Affairs, Transport and
Communications Minister Zeljko Luzavec, Croatian Army Chief of
Staff General Zvonimir Cervenko and State Protocol Director Ivan
Misetic, the statement concluded.
