The carriers first announced a complete blockade, but they
decided on a partial blockade of two hours.
However, they warned that if the countries did not repeal the
prohibition of Herzeg-Bosnian registration plates, next time they
would block crossings for all vehicles except Herzeg-Bosnian.
The president of the Association of Herzeg-Bosnian Carriers,
Zvonimir Mucic, arrived at the Vinjani Donji crossing. He explained
that Herzeg-Bosnian carriers could not cross borders towards
western Europe, and that caused them damage.
Except for a traffic jam at the border crossing, the blockade
did not cause big problems. All vehicles discovered a detour and
crossed the border.
