MOSCOW, March 23 (Hina) - A conference on financial assistance for the reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina, scheduled for April 12 in Brussels, would not take place if the sides did not release the remaining prisoners-of-war. This is

No spectacular results had been expected from the Moscow
conference, called only five days after the Geneva meeting and
devoted essentially to assessing the achievements in the
implementation of the Dayton peace accords and mapping out further
steps.
Particular importance was accorded to removing all obstacles
to the general elections scheduled for September. The conference
adopted a document calling on the sides to ensure the return of
refugees and freedom of movement as soon as possible.
Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic, who took an active part
in the proceedings, is to leave on a nine-day tour of South-Eastern
Asia.
