ZAGREB, March 15 (Hina) - At Friday's session, the Croatian government supported an amendment on the structure of ministries and the state administration. The amendment envisages an establishment of a new ministry of return of
Croatian Diaspora and immigration as well as a state administration for protection of war victims. Certain changes in existing ministries were proposed, which are aimed at a more economical and efficient performance of the state administration.
ZAGREB, March 15 (Hina) - At Friday's session, the Croatian
government supported an amendment on the structure of ministries
and the state administration. The amendment envisages an
establishment of a new ministry of return of Croatian Diaspora
and immigration as well as a state administration for protection
of war victims. Certain changes in existing ministries were
proposed, which are aimed at a more economical and efficient
performance of the state administration. #L#
The government sent a proposed amendment to the Parliament on
signing of international conventions. The amendment envisages
that international conventions signed by the Croatian President
and government do not have to be ratified, but are confirmed the
minute they are signed. Exceptions are conventions which
stipulate amendments, international conventions of a military or
political nature and international conventions through which
Croatia assumes a financial obligation.
The Croatian government on Friday decreed that houses should be
donated to six 100% disabled war veterans.
The houses were built in line with a program of building 112
houses for disabled war veterans.
