SARAJEVO, March 14 (Hina) - The Office of the President of the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kresimir Zubak, said in a
statement today that bodies of the federal authority could not
accept responsibility for the situation in Sarajevo suburbs which
are being reintegrated in the Federation. #L#
The Deputy Interior Minister of the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Jozo Leutar, informed the public and international
factors that the Bosniac side had refused all previous agreements
on the organisation of the police force in Sarajevo suburbs,
reached between the Federation's President and Vice President, the
statement said. There could be no federal police forces, since the
police had not been established in line with the federal Interior
Affairs Act. Therefore, the Federation's police forces could not be
responsible for criminal acts and pressure on citizens of Serb
nationality, who remained in the suburbs which were being
reintegrated into the city of Sarajevo, the statement said.
