OSIJEK, March 8 (Hina) - A delegation of the Zagreb-based British Council, headed by the Council's director Ian Stewart, on Friday donated text-books from its library to Osijek City and University Library.

donated text-books from its library to Osijek City and University

This is the first part of the donation, which has 50 titles,
including dictionaries and encyclopedias from different fields of
science. The value of the donation amounts to 10,000 kunas.
The British Council decided to send similar donations to
several Croatian towns, marking in that way the 50th anniversary of
the presence of the British Council in Croatia, Stewart said.
