After the sightseeing was over, Prince Charles said he was
impressed with the way life in Sarajevo went on despite destruction
and suffering the city and its residents experienced during the
war.
Prince of Wales said that he would visit Morocco and talk with
local architects about the possibilities of reconstruction of the
Sarajevo City Hall, which had been built in the times of Austro-
Hungarian monarchy.
The British Crown Prince then visited a part of the city in
which the humanitarian agency ODA had financed and constructed a
gas pipe-line.
During the afternoon, Prince Charles met with the IFOR ground
force commander, General Michael Walker, in one of NATO
headquarters in Ilidza.
