ZAGREB, March 7 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Thursday presented the poet Srecko Diana with the Order of Croatian Morning Star with Image of Marko Marulic for his exceptional contribution to the Croatian literary
creation. Diana was decorated on his 90th birthday, a statement form the President's Office said.

contribution to the Croatian literary creation. Diana was decorated
on his 90th birthday, a statement form the President's Office said.

Along with numerous dramas, essays and literary critiques,
Diana has published several books of poetry. His poems are included
in the anthology 'Five Centuries of Croatian Literature'. Two years
ago, Diana received the highest state award - 'Vladimir Nazor'
award for his contribution to Croatian contemporary poetry, the
statement said.
