ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - The Croatian government and the Croatian Post and Telecommunications (HPT) trade union signed a collective agreement on Tuesday. The agreement was signed in the presence of the Minister of Transport,
Communications and Maritime Affairs, Zeljko Luzavec, and the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Joso Skara.
ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - The Croatian government and the Croatian
Post and Telecommunications (HPT) trade union signed a collective
agreement on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Minister of
Transport, Communications and Maritime Affairs, Zeljko Luzavec,
and the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Joso Skara. #L#
The two negotiating teams agreed on the average lowest gross
wage of at least 1,674 kunas (DM 450), which could be modified if
any changes in wage policy took place.
The two sides also agreed to introduce a 40-hour working week
in some departments for a trial period of three months after
which the employer would assess its advantages.
Luzavec said that a collective agreement with Croatian Railways
would be signed soon.
