ZAGREB, Feb 20 (Hina) - Croatian Government negotiation team for collective agreements of the Croatian Post and Telecommunications (HPT) on Tuesday issued a statement saying that the statements from HPT Union reresentatives were
untrue concerning the lowest basic wage which had been suggested by the Government in the draft of the Branch collective agreement.

(HPT) on Tuesday issued a statement saying that the statements from
HPT Union reresentatives were untrue concerning the lowest basic
wage which had been suggested by the Government in the draft of the
Branch collective agreement. #L#
Unions had established that the Government had offered the
lowest basic wage at 1,174 kunas (DEM 317), and stressed that it
was less than January's lowest basic wage which had been 1,320
kunas (DEM 357).
The statement from the negotiation team said that the draft of
the Branch collective agreement established a lowest basic wage of
1,664 kunas (DEM 450), which is in accordance with the Basic
National agreement for Economy and Public Corporations.
