OSIJEK, Feb 29 (Hina) - Red Cross officials from the eastern
Croatian towns of Osijek, Valpovo and Vinkovci and the Serb-
occupied Croatian towns of Beli Manastir, Mirkovci and Vukovar met
in the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in
Osijek on Thursday.
The talks focused on issues of mutual importance for the work
of the Red Cross, the Croatian government office for restoration of
Croatian authority in Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srijem
said in a statement.
It was agreed that the next meeting of war-separated families
would be held on March 6.
This was the first meeting held outside the zone of separation
since the signing of the Erdut agreement on 12 November 1995.
